NAFTA introduces a set of service upgrades, including conversion to energy units, 6-to-6 Gas Day, Within-Day Rates and a two-hour lead time for re-nominations

Starting 1 May 2013 NAFTA will be offering storage services with transportation to VTP Austria included in the storage bundle for no extra charge. To make access to Austrian market (and markets further west) even easier and more convenient, NAFTA is also starting to apply a 6-to-6 gas day and is converting all its measurements from volumetric figures to energy units.

Following the success of the Day-Ahead Rates launched last year, NAFTA is also happy to announce the introduction of Within-Day Rates. Together with our new SuperFlex Storage product, which includes direct access to 3 Delivery Points (eustream, Slovak Distribution grid and VTP Austria), our customers are given a perfect tool to promptly react to changes on the intraday gas and electricity markets.

We are also improving our re-nomination procedures. As of 1 May 2013 our customers will be invited to flexibly re-nominate their flows with only a two-hour lead time.

We believe that aligning our operations with European Gas Markets standards will be beneficial for both NAFTA and our clients and that the new services will once again prove NAFTA the storage of choice in the region.
