NAFTA joined the Hydrogen Initiative

On September 17, 2018, NAFTA a.s. with its signature, added to a Hydrogen Initiative to maximize the potential of hydrogen produced from renewable sources. Different companies as well as individual EU countries have had the opportunity to join the Hydrogen Initiative during the "High level Energy" conference held in Linz, Austria.

Hydrogen as an energy carrier has the potential to cover the unevenness of electricity production from renewable sources, with its storage delivering flexibility just for renewable energy sources. The potential of "renewable" hydrogen is not only in its energy storage solution, but renewable hydrogen is considered a sustainable climate energy carrier that can be used in various areas - transport, energy, industry, etc. It is for these reasons that renewable hydrogen is expected to become a key tool for global decarbonisation of the environment in the coming years.

NAFTA operates in several regions across Slovakia. Whether landowners, local authorities or area businesses, NAFTA values its relationships with everybody at any location.
