NAFTA re-engaging in voluntary activities.

On 2 May 2020, volunteer brigades cleaned the area around Pieskovňa Lake near Plavecký Štvrtok. The cleanup was sponsored by NAFTA.

Taking a responsible approach toward the environment, NAFTA is actively promoting it at the communities in the regions where it operates. And that is why we have once again put our support behind this volunteer project in Plavecký Štvrtok.

Despite the exceptional situation, nearly 80 volunteers came out to clean up the lake, divided into smaller groups as a safety measure. NAFTA provided them with protective gloves, waste bags and bulk containers. With our company’s support, approximately 45 cubic meters of waste was collected.

Located within a pine forest, Lake Pieskovňa offers local residents and visitors alike a number of opportunities to relax and play sports in a magnificent environment. We are pleased to have been involved in this project and thank everyone who participated in it.
