NAFTA continues to combat the COVID-19 pandemic

Since March, NAFTA’s internal crisis headquarters has been monitoring the situation on a daily basis and is carefully preparing for various COVID-19-related scenarios. Strict measures had already been put in place during the first wave of the pandemic. The company continuously tested key operations staff and shifts are working strictly separated. The number of administrative employees in offices has fallen to the minimum necessary and staff whose job description allows them to work from home are teleworking. All employees are kept regularly informed about current measures and rules through internal communication channels. Technology is controlled for the most part remotely and redundantly.

To ensure smooth running of operations, NAFTA had also prepared for the probable impact of nationwide testing that took place this weekend. On Saturday, key operations staff were tested at a private laboratory at our site in Plavecký Štvrtok. The company's operations require precise planning and the information that was received let us organize our activities also for the subsequent period.

Thanks go to the health workers and our volunteers for their efforts! We look forward to a large turnout from employees, confirming that both NAFTA and the people working here are themselves take responsibility for the surrounding environment.

NAFTA will be continuing to comply with preventive and safety measures at the company. Their timely introduction has enabled the company to meet all its contractual obligations without any limitations.
