NAFTA a.s. (NAFTA) through its subsidiary NAFTA Bavaria GmbH has completed acquisition of underground gas storage facilities Inzenham - West, Wolfersberg and Breitbrunn/Eggstätt in the German state of Bavaria from DEA Deutsche Erdoel AG and Storengy Deutschland GmbH.

9th Turkey Energy Summit (TES) and 17th ERRA Energy Regulation and Investment Conference was held in Antalya, Turkey, on October 9-10, 2018. NAFTA was presented as the general partner of this international project in Turkey.

On September 17, 2018, NAFTA a.s. with its signature, added to a Hydrogen Initiative to maximize the potential of hydrogen produced from renewable sources. Different companies as well as individual EU countries have had the opportunity to join the Hydrogen Initiative during the "High level Energy" conference held in Linz, Austria.
