Bratislava, 21 June 2013 – Today, Mr. Pavol Kaločaj becomes a new Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of NAFTA a.s., who will replace Mr. Bohumil Kratochvíl. This change takes place after electing Mr. Pavol Kaločaj as a member of the Board of Directors of NAFTA a.s. by the Supervisory Board with the effect since 12 June 2013. The change in the composition of the Board of Directors was proposed by the majority shareholder of NAFTA a.s. – SPP, a.s. Mr. Pavol Kaločaj was nominated as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors by the Slovak Government.
Mr. Pavol Kaločaj – Résumé
Born in 1954. Graduated from the Comenius University in Bratislava, study program Experimental Physics, where he continued in the post-graduate study, study program Numeric Mathematics and Computer Science. He started his working career in 1978 as a research worker at VVNP company in Bratislava. From 1984, he worked as the Head of Mathematical Modelling of Naftoprojekt company in Poprad. In 1990, he became the Head of the Reservoir Engineering Department at VVNP company in Bratislava, where he worked until 2002; and until 2003, he was the Director of the branch plant VVNP OZ SPP. In 2004, he became the Director of the Subsidiary Projects and Controlling Section of SPP, a.s. Since 2006, he has been the Head of the Project Economic Evaluation Department. On 12 June 2013, he was elected by the Supervisory Board of NAFTA a.s. as a member of the Board of Directors.
